What is FSC Certificate?
FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) is a non-governmental organization established in 1993 by environmental non-governmental organizations, wood trade organizations, foresters, individuals and certification bodies that represent 25 countries. As a non-profit organization, FSC incorporates independent and accredited CoC certification bodies, environmental and social organizations from different segments, representatives of the companies that operate in the field of wood and forest products, some wood associations and forest products certification bodies. As of 2008, more than 100 million hectare forest areas in 79 countries have been certified by virtue of being in conformity with FSC standards.
